Messer is seeking a Superintendent with commercial construction experience to join our team.

Responsibilities are as follows:
• Oversee all phases of a construction project from initial planning to completion
• Coordinating construction activities of subcontractors and our own craft employees on our commercial construction projects
• Involvement in hiring, assigning, and monitoring professional growth of our craft employees
• Run the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers to cooperate and share control effectively
• Inspect work performed by employees, other contractors and sub-contractors

Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience
• High School diploma/GED required
• Ability to lift 30 pounds (technical equipment/ supplies)
• Must be able to work outdoors and navigate a construction site
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to travel up to 25%
• Verbal/written communication and “people” skills are essential

o Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
o Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs., seeing and reading
