We are currently seeking a Marketing and Communication Co-op / Intern for our corporate office. 
This can be part of a formal university co-op program or a full- or part-time paid internship. This person will support Marketing and Corporate Communication team members who create, manage and execute overall branding strategies, marketing plans, public relations including social media, and internal communication. This would also include creating and maintaining other marketing documents and collateral, event management, and possibly assistance with video production.

Responsibilities are as follows:
• Interact with employee-owners at all levels of the company in support departments, field operations, business development, as well as with external partners and vendors.
• Help translate complex strategies and themes into easy-to-understand communications.
• Help make technical subject matter more engaging for a lay audience, while communicating value and benefits.
• Assist with copywriting and content creation for a variety of internal and external communications, including website, news releases, social media content, and other areas as needed.
• Assist with video planning, creation, and production for both internal and external use.
• Assist with meeting logistics, asset management and reporting.
• Monitor incoming department requests and messages through department email, and distribute accordingly.
• Support the Marketing & Corporate Communications team as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related discipline
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Love of writing and content development necessary
• Willing to approach new initiatives and people with curiosity and persistence
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suites is a plus

• Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs., seeing and reading
• Valid driver’s license required
